What is a Tankless Water Heater?

A tankless water heater is exactly what the name says it is. This system does not have a tank of water waiting to be heated. Instead, heat generated by electric coils or a gas-fired burner raises the temperature of the water that comes out of your faucet.

What are the most common items that clog a sink?

The major culprits are:

  • Beauty products
  • Hair
  • Dirt
  • Grease
  • Food waste

All of these—and many other everyday items—can eventually lead to blocked or clogged drains. In the kitchen, use a drain catcher to keep physical debris from clogging the pipe. If a drain is slowing down, try pouring a mixture of hot water, baking soda, and vinegar down the drain to loosen whatever buildup is causing the slowdown. If the drain is still clogged, then it’s probably time to call in a member of the Clear Water Plumbing team.

Is it safe for me to use store-bought chemical drain cleaner?

Drain cleaners are very toxic. On the back of most products, you’ll find at least three warning labels. Clearly, having these products lying around your house can pose a risk for kids or pets. The toxic chemicals are also very bad for pipes, causing them to deteriorate from the inside out. Once this deterioration reaches a certain point, the drain lines will need to be replaced.

What are the benefits of a Tankless Water Heater?

Can I fix some leaks on my own?

You can definitely handle certain small leaks on your own. But we always recommend using a professional who guarantees the work.
